Monster 1100EVO further enhances the Monster family concept defines the

Desmodue Evoluzione 1100
Style, practicality, performance and safety, the four words that embody the essence of the Monster 1100EVO. This evolution is mainly located in the new Desmodue Evoluzione, the first 2-valve Ducati engine capable of reaching 100 hp while still providing a very fluid power. "Desmodromic heart" that encourages Monster 1100EVO is the result of the constant improvement of the air-cooled desmos; painstaking refinement and combustion air intake ensures 10.5 kgm of torque at 6000 rpm, providing a full-bodied power delivery across the entire range, from the center of the performance of end-to- lunges thrilling open road out of town.
By design Naked
1100EVO has been developed in accordance with the "less is more" philosophy, an integral part of the Monster style right from the start. What we do not change, though, is an important line of flirting: the narrow, trellis frame made of steel tube and coupled to the rear, throwing aluminum subframe. Also, by "Desmodromic heart" Monster 1100EVO oozes personality like no other.

Thanks to the new mechanism of progressive self-servo, clutch disc friction coefficient is higher and lower clutch spring load. This provides exceptional control with low, a necessity when it comes to a stop-start city driving or on long trips, while in mode 'anti-patter' was against any destabilization of the rear wheels for even the most aggressive downward turn.
